FAREWELL

 

I am terribly sorry to say hello for the last time to you my friend. Yet I am so glad to see our improvement when I take a glance at this blog site. This semester we have focused on the teacher’s perspective of educational technologies and I realized that without this course I wouldn’t be able to be the teacher I want to be. This course reminded me how the times go by quickly and how the habit of education changes with the world. Even 21 years old me felt old in this course.

We have done lots of assignments together and the ones in which we can integrate our interests are the best. At this point, I really really love the one in which we have used augmented reality. It was my favorite because as I said it gives teachers or students a little bit of freedom in terms of topics. On the other hand, the most challenging one would be corpus-based learning because the tools are so complicated and also it focuses on forms rather than the communication with the language.

The course overall gave me a deeper vision of language education and this is what I expect from any course I take. I can say that there was no problem with the content or process of the course. But I would like to take this course in a more technology-enhanced context. As in the 21st-century internet and the computers are old I really wish to see more advanced and sophisticated tools. But I believe that we have done the best we can through the semester.

In the last words, I want to add that I will always keep this blog to see my improvement and use all of these tools in the future. I will miss you, my friend, please take care.
