The Development of Technology in a Language Learning Context

In this blog, we have always talked about technology and its use in education, especially in language education. How strange is this to never mention the development of technology in a language learning context. So, here I am with a timeline of the history of technology in language learning.

I should say that the information I gave is the tip of the iceberg. I tried to collect the most important improvements for you. Even with this timeline, we can see that in a lifetime the whole world can change. And it is sad to say that it is so hard to catch up with technology since it is always several steps away from you. 

However, it is important for the teachers to be not dusted but always updated and adapted to changes in both technological and field knowledge to understand their students, see their needs, fill up the gaps.
